Areas of Expertise
My name is Mary Jo Richards. I was the executive director of up to seven state oncology professional associations at the same time over a 14-year period. I’ve also owned consulting and association management businesses for over 12 years.
As a small business coach, I help female business owners visualize a future where they are empowered with the proper tools and understanding to reach a place where they can step back. Whether your goal is to profitably sell your business, retire, or free up time to spend as you’ve always wanted. No matter if it’s a year from now or many years down the road, I help you move towards your goals.
As the owner of an international asset reliability consulting company, I am also a business coach myself. My point? I do this for a living. But it wasn’t until my work with Mary Jo and her systematic approach to business coaching did I discover elements of my own business for the first time! For instance, Mary Jo helped me to find ways to gain the same annual return by working 120 less days a year. I’m not making that number up. In the company I’ve owned for twelve years, Mary Jo navigated a path for me to work 1/3 less of a year and gain the same financial result. To say I was surprised would be a vast understatement.
Mary Jo is a problem solver. Through her quick study of issues and analysis of the situation and details, she crafts pragmatic solutions. I know her to be a professional asset for nonprofits, medical/oncology societies and small businesses. Mary Jo doesn’t just simply coach organizations from issues to positive results, she does so by facilitating strategy development to correct concerns and enhance goals and objectives. Mary Jo further aides companies by tailoring a comprehensive audit plan to keep teams on a success continuum.
